Frequently Asked Questions and Additional Information about a Magical Santa Visit

How does Santa personalize the virtual visit?
During the sign-up process, you have the opportunity to share details such as Family pets, the name of Elf on a Shelf if you have one, Christmas tree location, your child’s name, age, best friend, favorite TV show, and what they want for Christmas. The more you share the more personalized you can make your visit. This is perhaps the most important detail of the visit. You will want a virtual visit that you can share with family and friends for years to come.

How long is the video session?
Most will be 7-12 minutes. Santa understands that families are busy around the holidays. Santa is aware that some children have a shorter attention span than others.

How can I ensure my video will be magical?
We suggest you frame your children if front of the video camera. Make sure they are in a brightly lit room. Avoid a window or light directly behind. In front of your Christmas tree or fireplace would be a great place.

How early should I log in for my session?
Santa suggests that you log in 10 minutes before your session to make sure your video and sound are working correctly.

How does the virtual experience work?
The virtual experience will be on Zoom. You will receive an email with a link and a passcode. At the designated time, log in just as you would to a Zoom call. Click on the link to download Zoom for your device: https://zoom.us/download. Install ZOOM on your device well before your scheduled appointment to ensure there are no connection issues during your visit that will cut into your time with Santa.

How many children can be on a virtual visit with Santa?
Santa can usually have a quality visit with 2 or 3 Children. If there are more children you may consider scheduling concurrent visits

How will I receive my video?
You will receive a link via email to download your video.

Can my baby or toddler visit with Santa?
Santa is for children of all ages. Dress the littlest ones up in an adorable holiday outfit and put them by the Christmas tree. The video will be cherished for years to come and can be shared with all your loved ones.

What about grown-ups?
Yes of course. We are all children at heart.

How is a Virtual Visit Different than a Mall Visit?
There are no long lines to wait in. You will get to spend more time with Santa. You will visit with Santa John not just the one on duty. Your visit will be more personalized. It will be a truly magical experience.

Does Santa accommodate children with special needs?
Yes! Santa can communicate with all children (it is part of his magic). Santa understands that every child is different and has experience working with children and adults of all abilities.

Does Santa accommodate children that are deaf or hard of hearing?
Santa will have closed caption turned on to better communicate during the visit. Santa will use Pidgin Signed English (PSE) a combination of American Sign Language (ASL) and English

What time zone is my appointment in?
No need to worry about time zones. Just make sure you select your time zone when scheduling your appointment.

What if I have technical issues?
Santa recommends that if you haven’t done a zoom meeting before to email Santa@iSanta-Virtualvisits.com to set up a test meeting.

How old is Santa Claus?
He’s one of the most famous fellows on the planet, celebrated just about everywhere for his happy habit of bringing toys to all the good little girls and boys on Christmas Eve. Along with hanging stockings by the chimney with care, lighting up the Tannenbaum, and decking the halls, Santa Claus means Christmastime is here. But while we know so much about him, like where he lives (at the North Pole, of course), and how to reach him, Santa@iSanta-Virtualvisits.com, one big question remains: how old is the big guy in the red suit anyway?

This may surprise you. If you think, judging by that white beard and hair, Kris Kringle might be around 70 or 80, the truth is he’s far, far older. According to History.com, the monk who over time would evolve into Santa Claus was born in what is now modern-day Turkey in 280 A.D., making him a whopping 1,741 years old! Named Nicholas, he was eventually sainted thanks to his good works, which included giving his fortune away to the poor, who he traveled far and wide to help.

What is the difference between a Virtual Visit with Santa, Zoom with Santa, or Talk to Santa?
There are many terms that are used to search for a visit with Santa Claus. Some people say Santa on the computer, face time Santa, Santa Claus video calling, chat with Santa, video chat with Santa, Santa Claus Zoom call, Zoom Santa, virtual Santa visits, virtual Santa Claus visits, live chat with Santa, or chat live.

They are all virtually the same. There are many ways to connect with Santa Claus. Other than for Santa to visit live in your home or visit with Santa at the North Pole, the best way is to have a live, interactive meeting between Santa Claus and your child is through the web site: https://virtual-santa-claus-visits.com/.
